Coach Rory

My name is Coach Rory, creator of the RPG Training Systems and a lifelong coach and mentor to athletes young and old. As a strength coach, I have spent my career working with individuals and teams to help them get stronger, faster and more durable for sport and life, while also making them more resistant to injuries and in many cases, recovering from chronic or acute pain.

We are excited to welcome you to this amazing partnership with Chains - Disc Golf and Wellness. I have developed a number of programs to support all ages and skill levels, from Fitness Essentials to Hyperstrong and the All New Bells and Balls program. The design of these programs is all about developing healthy habits, foundational training and nutrition with comprehensive techniques and strategies to take your health and performance to a whole new level.

The Mission of RPG Training Systems, is to Build a Stronger Generation by helping athletes of all ages, get stronger, faster and more durable through a unique combination of training methods that support total human optimization for overall health, happiness and ultimately, success in life.

TRAINING SERVICES

In order to serve the growing community of St. Thomas and the surrounding area, we offer a wide variety of training packages, from Personal and Semi-Private Training to Group classes and Youth Team Training.

 

Personal Training

Our personal training is like nothing you have experienced.

A unique combination of therapy based modalities, rehabilitation focused and elite level strength and conditioning separates from other personal training services you will find.

Do we want you to lose weight? Get stronger? Fell happier? Absolutely - and you will be able to achieve all of those things, and dramatically reduce your pain and soreness, joint aches, and muscle tension at the same time.

Group Training

The goal of most trainers or fitness facilities is to get you sweaty. That is simple. High reps, heavy a** weights (usually with bad form) and little rest.

We don’t workout - we TRAIN!

We are training for health. We are training for balance, coordination, and stamina.

We are training for strength, power, agility, and speed. We are preparing for the hardships that hit us in our life that knock us out.

We are training to grow old, without the sore knees, ‘cranky’ shoulders and achey back that you get with other coaches.

In our programs, you leave happier, stronger, feeling lighter and ready to take on the world - literally!

Dryland and Team Performance Training

Without a doubt - this is our Bread and Butter! Since training teams at York University, we have become extremely well versed in training large groups of athletes.

From Hockey, Baseball, and Volleyball teams of 12-15 athletes, to Soccer teams and football teams ranging from 20-50 athletes, all the way to Provincial Programs like Team Ontario (Volleyball) and large Regional Programs, we KNOW Team Training.

This is a specialty - one that we have been mastering for almost 20 years.

Many personal trainers will take on team training - because they know a kids, are a parent or are recruited by a family member - NOT US! This is our PASSION!!

We guarantee you have not trained like an athlete until you have experienced an RPG Training Session!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • All programs run Monday/Wednesday and Saturday.
    Awaken the Warrior: M/W 6:00-7:15 am

    Fitness Essentials: M/W 11:00 am-12:00/12:00-1:00 pm

    Bells and Balls: M/W 7:15-8:15 pm

    Hyperstrong: M/W 8:15-9:30 pm

    Weekend Warrior: S 8:00-9:00 am

    First 5/Strong 10: S 9:00-10:00 am (Training) M/W/Sun Group Runs (program based - non-guided)

  • All sessions will begin the week of January 9th or based on participation numbers.

    Exceptions: All sessions require a minimum of 5 participants. Programs will begin as soon as registration reaches 5 participants.

  • All training will take place at Chains Disc Golf and Wellness - 36 St. Catherines, St. Thomas.

    First 5/Strong 10 running sessions will leave from Chains on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday. Time TBD.

  • Pricing varies slightly between programs. Check the program pages for specific program pricing or email rory@rpgtrainingsystems.com for more details.

  • All payments can be made online via Credit Card, but if you prefer an alternative payment method, or for any other payment related questions, you can contact Coach Rory: rory@rpgtrainingsystems.com

  • Currently, programs are only offered Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

    Personal Training is also available during the day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

    Programs will become available based on registration numbers and specific group requests.

  • Refund Policy:

    Once you register to participate and make payment, your fees are immediately used towards covering costs to operate our programs and the facility. We are unable to issue full refunds at any time upon request. Our refund policy is as follows:

    If a participant withdraws two or more weeks before the start of the program, a full refund will be issued, less a $20 administration fee.

    If a participant withdraws less than two weeks before the start of the program, a full refund will be issued, less a $30 administration fee plus direct costs that have already been committed.

    No refunds will be given after the start of the program.

    Exceptions: Pro-rated refunds (less a $15 administration fee plus direct costs that have already been committed) may be given for extenuating circumstances or compassionate reasons, such as family relocation or sickness/injury. Decisions related to refund eligibility and refund amounts will be made at the discretion of Coach Rory. If multiple sessions are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., lockdown, facilities becoming unavailable) and the program is unable to reschedule, a pro-rated refund will be issued to participants, less any direct costs that have already been committed.

    Requests for refunds MUST be sent to the Coach Rory via email to rory@rpgtrainingsystems.com Pro-rated refunds will be based on the date that written requests are received.
